Seamless IT, Limitless Potential – We Manage, You Grow.

Aim 4 The Cloud Managed Hosting

Dedicated Hardware: Maximum Performance Without Compromise

Exclusive physical server resources, private networking, protected connectivity and proactive management—built around the performance and security requirements of your business.

Some workloads have outgrown shared infrastructure.

When your business depends on consistent application performance, large databases, intensive processing, high-volume traffic or complete infrastructure control, shared and multi-tenant environments may no longer provide the capacity or predictability you need.

Managed Dedicated Hardware from Aim 4 The Cloud gives your organization exclusive access to an entire physical server, combined with the monitoring, security, maintenance and technical support expected from a fully managed hosting provider.

There are no neighbouring customers competing for processor time, memory, storage performance or other physical resources. The server is assigned entirely to your organization and configured around the requirements of your applications.

Your Hardware. Your Resources.

Enterprise Performance

Built Around the Workload, Not a Generic Package

Every application places different demands on infrastructure. A database server may require large amounts of memory and extremely fast storage. A high-traffic web platform may benefit from strong processor performance and high-throughput connectivity. A data-processing environment may require a large number of processor cores and substantial local storage.

Aim 4 The Cloud works with you to select and configure the physical platform around your application’s actual processing, memory, storage and network requirements.

Dedicated Private Networking

Connect Servers Without Exposing Internal Traffic

Public connectivity is only one part of a well-designed hosting environment. Compatible dedicated servers and managed services can communicate through an isolated private network that remains separate from the public internet.

Private networking is especially useful for multi-tier applications. A public-facing web server can communicate privately with a database server that has no direct public exposure. Internal application traffic, database synchronization, storage transfers and management services can remain separated from public-facing connectivity.

This creates stronger network segmentation and helps reduce the unnecessary exposure of critical systems.

Privately Connect

  • Multiple dedicated servers
  • Web, application and database systems
  • Managed firewall appliances
  • Load-balancing services
  • Storage platforms
  • Optional backup infrastructure
  • Development, staging and production environments
Example Architecture

Keep Backend Systems Private

A public application server can receive customer traffic while database, storage and administrative systems remain on private addresses.

  • Publish only approved services
  • Reduce direct public exposure
  • Separate application tiers
  • Control internal communication
  • Support future server expansion
Multi-Server Infrastructure

Build a Complete Hosting Environment

Dedicated hardware does not need to operate as an isolated server. Multiple systems can be connected through private networking and assigned specialized roles across the application environment.

Application and Database Separation

Separate public application services from database systems to improve security boundaries, capacity planning and performance management.

Load-Balanced Applications

Distribute application traffic across multiple backend servers to increase capacity and reduce reliance on a single application system.

Redundant Infrastructure

Introduce additional systems for service redundancy, database replication, disaster recovery or geographic resilience.

Dedicated Security Layers

Connect managed firewalls, private management services and other security components around the application architecture.

Network Protection

Security Begins Before Traffic Reaches the Server

Internet-facing infrastructure must be prepared for more than ordinary application traffic. Managed Dedicated Hardware includes network-level protection designed to detect and mitigate distributed denial-of-service attacks.

Integrated Anti-DDoS Protection

Suspicious high-volume traffic can be identified and mitigated through the underlying network before it overwhelms the server’s public connection.

Operating-System Hardening

Reduce unnecessary services, apply secure baseline configurations and restrict administrative access based on the requirements of the environment.

Firewall Configuration

Control inbound and outbound traffic with host-level rules or an optional managed edge firewall designed around the application architecture.

Private Administrative Access

Administrative services can be restricted through approved addresses, private networks or secure VPN connectivity rather than exposed broadly.

High-Performance Connectivity

Designed for Demanding Internet Workloads

Dedicated servers are connected to high-capacity data-centre networks designed for business applications, customer-facing platforms and large data transfers.

Connectivity can be selected around expected traffic patterns, peak utilization, transfer volume and application sensitivity. Depending on the selected configuration and deployment location, multi-gigabit connectivity and higher-throughput options may be available.

Suitable for

  • High-traffic websites
  • E-commerce platforms
  • Software-as-a-Service applications
  • Application programming interfaces
  • Large file transfers
  • Media processing and delivery
  • Remote business applications
  • Customer-facing platforms
Flexible Storage

Balance Performance, Capacity and Redundancy

Storage performance can determine the responsiveness of an entire application. Dedicated systems can be designed with high-speed storage for latency-sensitive workloads, high-capacity drives for bulk data or a combination of both.

NVMe

High-Performance Storage

Fast local storage for databases, transaction-heavy applications, search platforms and other latency-sensitive workloads.

SSD

Balanced Application Storage

Solid-state storage provides a practical balance of performance, capacity and reliability for common business applications.

HDD

High-Capacity Storage

Large-capacity drive configurations can support file services, archives, repositories and other storage-intensive requirements.

Storage Designs Can Include

  • Mirrored operating-system drives
  • High-performance NVMe arrays
  • Separate application and operating-system storage
  • Dedicated database storage
  • Large-capacity data volumes
  • RAID configurations for drive redundancy

RAID Is Not a Backup

RAID can protect against certain drive failures, but it does not protect against accidental deletion, data corruption, compromised credentials or application-level incidents.

Independent backup protection is available through the optional managed backup add-on described below.

Optional Add-On

Managed Backup and Recovery

Backup services are not included by default with Managed Dedicated Hardware.

Backup capacity, frequency, retention and recovery services are scoped and priced separately from the base dedicated hardware service. This allows the backup design to reflect the actual data volume, retention requirements, application architecture and recovery objectives of the organization.

Backup Protection

  • Scheduled backup jobs
  • Defined retention periods
  • Independent backup storage
  • Off-server backup copies
  • Encrypted backup transfers

Recovery Services

  • File-level recovery
  • Database-aware backups
  • Application-specific procedures
  • Recovery testing
  • Documented restoration processes

Optional backup and disaster-recovery services are reviewed, designed and quoted separately based on the selected infrastructure and business requirements.
